CHALLENGES

Before we started working together, HairOdot’s website was a strong source of frustration. Filled with errors, almost impossible to update, and lacking flexibility. Instead of a powerful online tool, their website really felt like a burden. We wanted to help them by redesigning and rebuilding their website on WordPress. This was meant to help HairOdot enjoy a sense of freedom and control.

Their website had a few significant challenges like technical debt, hindering its performance and stability. Updating content or adding new pages was an intricate process because of hardcoded elements. Also, it was almost impossible for them to adapt the website structure to their evolving needs and content requirements.

SOLUTION

We managed to successfully redesign and rebuild HairOdot’s website with a limited budget. By leveraging WordPress and Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) plugins, this new website prioritises clean development practices, a user-friendly admin dashboard, and content flexibility. This modular approach is meant to help HairOdot create new pages with a flexible combination of pre-build blocks, thus facilitating future growth and content updates.

Reusable ACF blocks helped HairOdot create new pages easily, also being able to combine different content sections (text, images, galleries, etc.).
